My Life Since Senn ...: My husband and I lived in Arizona for a few years when he was pursuing his graduate degree. We moved back to Chicago and then to Highland Park where we raised our family. My career began when I started the Headstart program for Hull House in Chicago I went back to work at the JCC on Touhy and then began my career as executive director of Temple Jeremiah in Northfield. During my 28 years there I served 2 terms as President of the National Association of Temple Administrators. One of the highlights was being invited to teach temple administration in Russia. |

My Life Since Senn ...:
I received a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin, and a MA from Northeastern Illinois University. I taught high school English at Waller High School and Ida Crown Jewish Academy. I worked for many years in the Academic Achievement Center at Niles North High School. I am currently retired. I married Alan, an attorney, in 1964. Our daughter Danica is living in suburban LA and is in the entertainment industry. Her husband John owns a building trades company. Our son Robert and his wife Linda are both high school teachers living in suburban Atlanta. They have two wonderful sons, Jordan (almost 5) and Jason (almost 2). Alan was a renaissance man, he played flute and guitar & collected African and Japanese art. We enjoyed opera and theatre. We traveled frequently; some of our destinations were Europe, Africa, the middle east, and the orient. I was widowed after 40 years with my loving husband. Being at Senn was a wonderful part of my life and I still enjoy great memories from that time. |

My Life Since Senn ...:
College, law school, teacher, cab driver investigator, politics, before being drafted and then Vietnam. Traveling was exciting for about 15 years before settling into a quiet life as a parent and an accountant in Los Angeles for the next 35 years. My excitement today is playing with my 3 young grandchildren. I live with and take care of my 92 year old mother. Failed investments and business ventures means still working after all these years. My largest achievement is that I have doubled my weight since high school by bad eating and little exercise. Looking forward to meeting old friends and others I haven't seen for 50 years and reviving lost memories. |
