Prior to our 10th reunion, I tried everything to find out where & when it would take place, even called Senn to no avail.  I missed it....so angry. Fortunately, because of Facebook, I found familiar faces and was able to get together (met at Sears Tower) with Jackie Stern, Karlynne Klein, Harry Eng, Al Aven, Hank Ecker, and Alan Goldberg.  We had a 48th mini reunion. Cried when I saw Karlynne who was my besty.  We all had so much fun eating and singing songs from "Dogpatch". My daughter and I played some fun golf with Harry. So happy I got to do that, but so sad I missed so many of my other friends who have passed.  Wish I could be at this next one. I look forward to more pictures. Senn was the best time (too much fun, or I might have been one of the more successful grads) and I agree with Karlynne, we had some pretty impressive people coming out of this class. I love you guys and wish you all happiness and above all, health.

Sorry I missed the reunion.  I was impressed at how many Goudy grads attended.  My husband and I are retired and live in the Orlando area.  The grandkids love it.

Now that we have stopped looking at everyone\'s navel (badges\' locations)to determine who they are, let\'s all acknowledge what a marvelous, talented class we were.  We were more special than we ever knew.
Yea! Class of 1960.

I just want to say that I am coming to the reunion.
I had to rearrange somethings: this is it.
I mean a 50-year reunion.  It\'s now or never!
See you all there, with bells on.

I am so grateful that the Senn High Reunion Committee found me after 50 years and that I am alive and well, thank you.

As I viewed all the photos and profiles from former classmates, I got very emotional and had all those "warm, fuzzy feelings" of the long ago and how it was then.

I won\'t be able to attend the reunion, but my thoughts and prayers are with everyone.  Really, make it truly a "blast from the past."

Dear Classmates
After seeing the pictures the ladies sent with their profiles, I must say the ladies look fantastic.  They have aged with grace & beauty & alot of the men did the same.

After graduation from college, taught  in Chgo., moved to LA, NY for 17 years, London and back to Chgo. Remarried for 20 years, 2 sons. Completed a masters degree in Nutrition, which enabled me to do research and publish in this field. Working part-time with Arllyn Cohen Freeman, as a reading teacher.

Arllyn is still married to Alan Freeman and she said when you see her not to remind her.

You will not meet my husband at the reunion because I want to have a good time.

Love seeing the names of my "old" friends from Clinton and Senn.  I am an ophthalmologist in the northern suburbs of Chicago.  I have been married to Ellen Klein (also a 1960 graduate of Senn) for 43+ years-have one great son who blessed us with 4 great grandkids-cannot wait to see everyone at the reunion-especially those that I have not seen since high school graduation

After graduating from Senn I received a BSME from California State Polytechnic University and an MBA from Golden Gate University (San Francisco).  I spent most of my working career in the engineering/construction field holding a wide variety of managment level positions.  I've been married to the same great lady since 1968 and have one son born in 1971.  My wife Pat and I figured that we have moved around 17 times during our married life.  I retired in 2002 and we settled down in the Charleston, SC area of the country.  I still get back to Chicago on a regular basis to visit with my sister.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in June!!!!!!!!

Regards,
Joel

I left Chicago in 1968 after med school, planning to go west, but wound up in New Jersey (of all places) after training in New York.  Still married (39 years) and have 3 kids and 4 grandchildren.  I'm still working which seems to maintain stability in life.  Strangely, I still think of Senn friends (Ungerleider, Pete Kaplan, Artie Rubin, Marty Behr, etc.) and wonder if I missed a singing career by not pursuing our group (The Spokesmen- still have the record we made). Will never forget words to West side story, football coach(Loverde), Basketball coach (Leighton) even though I never played for them. See you in June

When I first married in 1965, I lived four blocks from Senn.  I was there for eleven years and then moved to Schaumburg.  I now live in East Dundee, IL.  I have three daughters: a computer tech, a commercial pilot, and a police officer.  I also have grand-dogs, but no grandchildren, yet.  I have worked in education for over 35 years - as a teacher and program coordinator.
I decided to return to the classroom for another year or two, and I love it.  I received my Doctorate degree in 2000 from Loyola University.  Life is good, I feel great, and I cannot believe time has passed so quickly.
