A person has three choices in life. You can swim against the tide and get exhausted, or you can tread water and let the tide sweep you away, or you can swim with the tide, and let it take you where it wants you to go. |

Comment: Those of you who might remember me will probably remember a very shy "wallflower" girl. When I tell my Virginia friends this they are in total disbelief. So I guess you might notice a change when you see me in June. Looking forward to seeing everyone. | |

My Life Since Senn ...:
Masters in Social Work. Over 30 years in practice. Lots of lecturing, teaching at both undergrad and graduate level. Blessed with a wonderful spouse, Sheldon Isenberg, fantastic children, daughter-in-law's, and grandchildren that fill me with warmth and laughter. Interests have included travel, the arts, reading, hiking, gardening, involvement in community and synagogue. I'm currently in the process of applying to a rabbinic ordination program. When we took our "attitude and interest" inventory at Senn in our junior year, one that I ranked very high on was "clergy", but women were many years from being admitted into ordination programs. I'm "feeling out" what I want to do with this next part of my life; this is still, and even more deeply, high on the list. So --- |
