Marion died in March 2025 at the age of 82.  After Senn she attended Pestalozzi-Froebel Teachers College. She married fellow Senn classmate Jay Peebles.  They moved to Oregon and had two sons and a daughter together.  After a divorce she married Sonny and become stepmother to his 3 sons and a daughter. She had 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren from her children and stepchildren. 

Her career included being a dental assistant/hygienist. She then worked at Lewis & Clark College and Ronald McDonald House Charities, she brought warmth and dedication to every endeavor. She also was an active participant in husband Sonny's career as a coach.

After retirement she was able to spend more time doing the things she loved: gardening, travel, movies, and most importantly, spending time with her cherished family and friends. She was a devoted grandmother, always present at her grandchildren’s events, and a volunteer at Northwest Children’s Outreach.
