My Life Since Senn ...: I stayed in Chicago in the same house I grew up in until 1963 when I moved to Milwaukee with my parents to help in their new business venture. I also attended Marquette Undergraduate and Law school and got my JD in 1968. I then started a practice with another attorney which lasted until 1990. We srtartd as 2 and grew to 90 when we broke up for political reasons. A goup of us (11 attorneys + paralegals) decided to stay together and we joined another firm which turned out to be a bad fit. I left in 1999 and basically have been on my own since then.

I have been married twice. The first lasted 11 years this one has lasted 30+. As they say, everything is better the second time around. I have 2 girls the oldest age 41 is a special needs child who has Tay Sachs disease, she is one of the oldest to have survived and lives in a Nursing Home. Great kid with a great attitude most of the time but no use of her limbs. The youngest is 38, was an athlete (soccer player on a ranked college team) who now is a Voc Tech. Neither are married so no granschildren.

Can't wait for the reunion but I also can't believe it's been 50 years. How time flies.

My Life Since Senn ...: I met my husband Robert the end of our last year at Senn.

I was at the Morse ave. beach doing publicity for the Miss Illinois pagent, which I was a finalist in. I didn't win, but it jump started my modeling career. We moved to Ca. My husband was in the clothing business and he outfitted the stars of many T.V. shows and movies. We had a great time meeting all these celebrities. We now live in a Senior Community in Sun Lakes, Az. There are a lot of people from Chicago here.

Grammar (feeder) School: Goudy

Your Favorite Piece Of Wisdom: I'll have to think about this, there are so many. I will try to figure it out by the time the reunion rolls around.
My Life Since Senn ...: I graduated with a degree in journalism and political science from Syracuse University, which I might add is the only school with a piece of fruit for a mascot. But, I digress. Anyway, I published a trade publication in the floral industry for 25 years and now I am perfecting the art of not having any time to work at all.

However I do find time for freelance writing and editing. I have traveled extensively and generally am so busy with friends and events that I don't know how I ever found time to work full time. I live in Glenview and am still happily single.

Your Favorite Piece Of Wisdom: I'm still learning!
My Life Since Senn ...: Married almost 38 years to Anne w/twin boys 35 years old. Anne recently became a Marriage & Family Therapist after years of Non Profit Management.

Both boys live in CA nearby. One is an attorney for Jones Day and recently got engaged and the other is in Finance at Davita, a public kidney dialysis co.

Graduated SIU in Carbondale and then worked for Motorola as a financial analyst. Shortly thereafter went into the retail record business around the Chicago area. After opening and managing 6 stores, I went into wholesale distribution of records. In the 80's added video and opened up 12 Warehouse/Branches to serve approximately 9,000 accounts.

Eventually got into the DVD business in the late 90's and moved to LA. I still license and distribute DVD's plus added a post production studio recently.

Play golf every week (sometimes w/Dennis Fields)- great weather out here; however, still miss the people I grew up or worked with and will always miss Chicago and their sports teams. I recently did a documentary film and DVD "Hello Again Everybody" on Harry Caray, the late sports announcer, for all you Cub Fans.

Your Favorite Piece Of Wisdom: You can have your cake and eat it too.
My Life Since Senn ...: After IU and U of I I went to the University of Michigan where David Ginsburg was attending college. We married 49 years ago and lived through Medical School, the Army (1 year away in Viet Nam - him not me) internship, residency, fellowship and the whole mess. I have been a housewife, mother (2 wonderful sons), grandmother of 4 (finally 1 girl in the family), political activist, office manager for David when he went into Private Practice, then formed and ran my computer business for 14 years. After selling the business 10 years ago I moved on to be an activist as board member of several organizations, political junky, traveler, opera fan and arts lover. I am now enjoying retirement with David, living most of our time in the city and trying to enjoy every day and hoping to make life better for those less fortunate than I have been.

Your Favorite Piece Of Wisdom: (I probably should have collected more of these)
My Life Since Senn ...: Got off to a very good start: married Dale. Medical school, a year in Viet Nam, and eventually ran a dialysis unit in Highland Park, -- for 25 years (way too long). Retired 3 years ago. We bought an apartment in the city and I'm now teaching a bit at Northwestern medical school, and loving it. Seems like a different city from the one we grew up in.

Two sons and 4 grandchildren, who like to putter around my workbench, and play basketball with me (I always lose).

Travelled a bit, especially to Italy: Dale's a great travel agent.

Still play some tennis, bicycle; still interested in medicine, politics, the arts.

I've been looking through some of the bios posted: I am chagrined to find that I had forgotten what good friends I had 50 years ago. Looking forward to catching up with you guys in June.

Your Favorite Piece Of Wisdom: Go as far as you can see and when you get there you can see further
My Life Since Senn ...: has been an incredible journey. I am grateful that I am still connected to my dear Grammar School and High School friends as well as the many new friends I have met along the way. Thanks to Arde for getting me and the gang out of class to explore life on the outside. It helped to prepare me for what was yet to come.

My passion is fundraising and as I look forward to each event, I am reminded of all the charity dances we put on while in High School. I have fond memories of High School (when I was there) and especially the memories of everyone I left behind. I am so looking forward to seeing all of you.

Your Favorite Piece Of Wisdom: Life is what happens when you're making other plans -- John Lennon
My Life Since Senn ...: I graduated high school and put away my dolls. (I was too old ...) Went to college (I was too young ...) Became a secretary, then a copywriter and worked and traveled with the American Medical Assoc. Found out I wasn't ugly. Quit my job after 5 years and sailed away alone on the Queen Mary for a year discovering Europe and the middle east, in case life would never let me do that again. (it hasn't ...) Came home, fell in love, married a special man, had two adorable children ... and learned about the autism spectrum the hard way. Worked as a family to deal reasonably well with that. Learned I was no longer too old for dolls. Slowly became knowledgeable about them and their history, built up a resource library and became the "doll lady" and a lecturer at the Museum of Science and Industry for about 30 years. Shared the joy of my hobby with family and friends, old and new. Bought some special dolls with my winnings on TV quiz shows like "Jeopardy!" and "Millionaire". Lotsa fun! (... and now I am just the right age ...!)
