This would be the point to declare that they lived happily ever after but ... eight years ago my wife was diagnosed as having a rare form of lupus and she has resided in a nursing home for the past five years. I would love to participate in the reunion but would not be comfortable being that far away from her.

My Life Since Senn ...: After Senn, I went to Roosevelt University for a year but then returned to my first love of dancing. Appeared in musical reviews in Milwaukee and Chicago. Moved to New York for a while and met some very interesting Broadway and TV stars as I worked for theatrical attorneys and an agent. Took more lessons at ABT. Moved back home, toured for a winter with a troupe of a magician, singer and dancers. I learned how many magic illusions work, but don't ask me to tell. Traveled to Copenhagen and Hawaii as a travel agent, and met my future husband at a wedding in Wisconsn. Very romantic time, he proposed to me in two weeks. Was married for twenty years to my terrific guy when he passed away suddenly in 1986 in Cincinnati. But, we lived in Delaware, Maryland, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio and wound up in beautiful Sarasota with the greatest beaches in the world. I have the 3 greatest children and the most beautiful 3 grandchildren. My children are doing very well. My son and his wife live outside of Tampa, have two precious darlings and a beatiful home. He graduated from the University of West Florida with honors, putting himself through school as a waiter, bartender and bouncer. My daughter in law is a member of the family and terrific. My daughter Samantha, with a Bachelor's and Master's degree, is a police officer in the city of Tampa, has a lovely home and has a precious son adopted from Guatemala. My baby girl, Jessica is almost 6 feet tall and gorgeous, if I do say so myself. She went to University of Georgia on a softball full ride scholarship. She still holds many of their records and now is an executive recruiter wih HSN. I love the theater and the Cubs. Have done some photography and worked with Alzheimer's patients. My kids and grandkids are the most important things in my life and bring me great joy! I am so looking forward to seeing all the past friends and renewing relationships.

Your Favorite Piece Of Wisdom: Life is not about how many breaths, but about how many moments take your breath away.
My Life Since Senn ...: I have returned to my roots, we are living in Chicago again, after 41 years. And...you can come home. Looking forward to reconnecting!!!

I attended University of Illinois at Champaign and Navy Pier, then graduated from Roosevelt University, Feb 1965, in Accounting and Education. I married Barry Chapnick in 1965. I taught high school for 2 years, and then was a public accountant until our son, Michael was born, 1969. In 1970 we moved to Iowa City for a post doc, then in 1973 on to Tulane University where Barry was a professor. I thought I could have a part time job..in real estate. Dana was born in 1976. Real estate, friends, and family were time consuming, and lots of visitors. In 1980 we moved to St Louis, Barry as a professor at St Louis University. I continued as a real estate agent, moving to RE/MAX in 1986, first as an owner, then back to residential real estate sales, which is what I love.

In 1985-1986, Barry had the opportunity to go to Paris for a sabbatical. It became my sabbatical too, I as the travel agent and coordinator; we visited 10 countries and toured all of France, and I tried to see all of the 100 museums in Paris. Our son, daughter-in-law and daughter gained the ability to think of the world as their home, and have lived again in France, Spain, Belgium, Burundi, Gabon, Japan, and Singapore. We have subsequently visited them in these places and to various other countries, often ending each in Paris. We just completed a trip to avoid winter, first in San Diego to celebrate our daughter receiving her J.D., then to Australia and New Zealand.

I love travel, reading, art and architecture, and being with family and friends. I look forward to reconnecting with you via email and/or at the reunion!
