IL Trade Show Director, Freelance Business Writer Married 2 Clinton Terrence Kennedy 6 "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." (Former Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan) After earning a degree in political science and public administration, I've worked my entire career in the private sector. As VP of PEMCO, a subsidiary of ABC/Disney, I produced and directed trade shows serving industries ranging from public transit to computer systems and several segments of manufacturing. On the way to retirement, I'm a freelance business writer (Forum editing was good training!) focusing on web site content and marketing materials for small and mid-size organizations. David and I have been married for 46 years and particularly love being grandparents. We travel to Maine often to spend time with our daughter and her family. Our son and his family live in the Chicago area so the trip is much shorter and more frequent. Every day we savor life, our wonderful family and good friends.

IL University Professor Married 2 Boone Garo 5 Don't believe everything you think Married immediately after college and still married to Judy - 50+ years!!
Always around 'education' -
High school math teacher, Curriculum consultant in Chicago Public Schools, Director of Educational Product Development @ Encyclopaedia Britannica Educational Corp, College Mathematics professor @ National-Louis University in Chicago, then Dean, Provost, and now President.

Following the presidency I have returned to teaching mathematics and mathematics education. Have had my battles with middle age - bought a horse and rode for a while, bought a boat and sailed for a while, etc. Enjoyed them all, but have exchanged them for trying new restaurants, time with grandchildren, napping, and working hard (can't comprehend retirement).

RI sports broadcasting Married 3 Hayt I need some help to remember 1 "To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of the arts" I met my wife, Hillary (Holly) Kosbie (Evanston H.S.) while I was an undergraduate at Southern Illinois University. I majored in communications and I have worked for the past 40+ years in sports broadcasting. For many years, I was a radio and television sports anchor and reporter and play-by-play announcer. I am still working at a sports radio station in the Providence, RI and Boston, MA areas in sports marketing and community relations.

We have 3 children; Michelle (38), Mickey (35), and Kelly (33). Michelle lives nearby in Massachusetts, Mickey in Rhode Island and Kelly in Bethlehem, PA. Michelle is married and gave birth to our first grandchild, Caimin Lyons Carney in August of '09.
What an unbelievable feeling!

I still participate in sports, including softball on a 65+ softball team. Thirty years ago, I used to write and produce stories for television about senior athletes. Today I am one of them and I currently serve as the Director and the Games Commisioner for the Ocean State Senior Olympics, a multi sport event for men and women 50 plus. Many of them are amazing individuals that serve as my inspiration.
I have really enjoyed reading the profiles of my classmates and teammates, and I am thrilled to be coming home to see my family, friends and the class of '60.
I am also thrilled that the Cubs happen to be playing the White Sox the same weekend,

IL Married My wife and I have been living in Long Grove for the last 25 years We both enjoy nature and landscaping. We have raised many Labrador Retrievers and our current dogs are Jack and Joe. We also enjoy international travel particularly to France and Italy

Since leaving Senn I have continued my love of music by playing drums in several community bands in Mount Prospect and Arlington Heights. I also have played in Jazz bands and continued my musical studies at Elmhurst College.

After leaving the University of Illinois in Champaign my career path led me to financial sales. I spent many years as an officer at GE Capital and I am currently Senior Vice President at MB Financial Bank.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the reunion because of a previously scheduled trip to Europe.

It is amazing that in the last 50 years I have only seen a handful of my former Senn classmates. I would appreciate hearing from you in the future. I hope you all have a wonderful reunion.

A person has three choices in life.  You can swim against the tide and get exhausted, or you can tread water and let the tide sweep you away, or you can swim with the tide, and let it take you where it wants you to go.
