FL Workers Compensation Policy Reviewer Widowed 3 Stone five different ones, don't remember all the names. 3 Dont regret growing old. Some are denied the privilege. After Senn, I went to Roosevelt University for a year but then returned to my first love of dancing. Appeared in musical reviews in Milwaukee and Chicago. Moved to New York for a while and met some very interesting Broadway and TV stars as I worked for theatrical attorneys and an agent. Took more lessons at ABT. Moved back home, toured for a winter with a troupe of a magician, singer and dancers. I learned how many magic illusions work, but don't ask me to tell. Traveled to Copenhagen and Hawaii as a travel agent, and met my future husband at a wedding in Wisconsn. Very romantic time, he proposed to me in two weeks. Was married for twenty years to my terrific guy when he passed away suddenly in 1986 in Cincinnati. But, we lived in Delaware, Maryland, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio and wound up in beautiful Sarasota with the greatest beaches in the world. I have the 3 greatest children and the most beautiful 3 grandchildren. My children are doing very well. My son and his wife live outside of Tampa, have two precious darlings and a beatiful home. He graduated from the University of West Florida with honors, putting himself through school as a waiter, bartender and bouncer. My daughter in law is a member of the family and terrific. My daughter Samantha, with a Bachelor's and Master's degree, is a police officer in the city of Tampa, has a lovely home and has a precious son adopted from Guatemala. My baby girl, Jessica is almost 6 feet tall and gorgeous, if I do say so myself. She went to University of Georgia on a softball full ride scholarship. She still holds many of their records and now is an executive recruiter wih HSN. I love the theater and the Cubs. Have done some photography and worked with Alzheimer's patients. My kids and grandkids are the most important things in my life and bring me great joy! I am so looking forward to seeing all the past friends and renewing relationships.
Great job Jackie and crew. We tried for the 45th and didn't make it but we did have fun at dinner that evening singing the songs from "Dogpatch." Send Karlynne a MessageSend Karlynne a Message

IL Educator Committed Relationship 3 Marshall Elementary Mr. Bayer Working with kids keeps you young and on your toes. Life has been good, even with all of the ups and downs. Married for 32 years; divorced; in a relationship for too long; out of relationship and now happily occupied.

Three adult daughters: an office executive; a Captain with Spirit Airlines; a Hoffman Estates Police Officer.

I have 3 dogs and two grand-dogs.

My education continued with a B.A. from the University of Illinois in Urbana; several M.A.'s at various universities and ended with a Doctorate from Loyola University.

I retired in 2013 after 37 years in education. I was the coordinator of a Title IV Safe & Drug Free Schools Federal Grant for 18 years, and the rest of the time I taught in various classrooms...between having daughters. I'm still subbing - when it doesn't get in the way of my traveling - and will continue until it's no longer enjoyable.

I belong to a ski club and love downhill skiing. I'm the membership chairperson and also in charge of our bowling group.

I do a lot of walking with my dogs and swim four or five days a week. I squeeze in biking when I can, even though my dogs look at me with angry eyes because they want more walks!

Staying active, enjoying life with no complications or drama - that's my motto for now.
Senn was a great experience for me because I moved from the West side to the North side when I entered my sophomore year and didn't know anyone.  I made many life-long friends very quickly - I give Senn some of that credit. Send Marlene a MessageSend Marlene a Message

IL Needlepoint Designer Married 2 Boone Emanuel Jacobson 3 I was in the Art Major program at the University of Illinois and transferred to Roosevelt University as a junior to prepare to become a high school art teacher. I graduated in 1964 and began working that Fall at Crane High School. I married my husband Stan earlier that summer and we are headed towards our 46th wedding anniversary. Our daughter Jennifer, who is married to Scott has worked as a paramedic and fire-fighter and is the mother of three young beautiful children. They will be moving closer to us to Glenview from Lake-in-the-Hills. She loves animals and has a talent for gardening. Our younger daughter Samantha is Director of Classical Programming for the Washington (D.C.) Performing Arts Society and therefore we don't get to see her as often as we wish. She and I are "foodies" and enjoy discussing recipes and food preparations. I have been active in PTO's, New Trier H.S. Fine Arts, our synagogue and Women's ORT. My husband is retired and I have been designing needlepoint canvases for the past 42 years. My work is distributed by a national representative, an on-line catalog and custom canvases for local and east coast shops. I love what I do.
My years at Senn helped prepare me for my future. My life long love of art, people and volunteerism.

FL Retired school teacher Married 1 Goudy 2 Enjoy life - you only have one shot at it. I left Senn and went to U of I in Urbana/Champaign. It was a great learning experience both academically and socially. I met my husband Jim and after graduation we stayed on campus for him to complete grad school while I taught elementary school. His career has taken us to many different areas. We have lived in Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, and Florida. For a girl who never left Chicago until college, this was very exciting.

We have one daughter and two beautiful grandchildren that live in Alabama. After teaching for 20 years, my husband and I retired to Central Florida, near Orlando. The grandkids love it as we are 25 minutes from Disney.

I live in a retirement community and spend my leisure time volunteering and playing my two passions, tennis and bridge. I volunteer as a tutor at a local elementary school to help students who are struggling with reading and math. My husband and I volunteer at Give Kids The World Village, which is a nonprofit organization that provides families with children who have life threatening diseases a week of fun at the Orlando entertainment venues.

We love to travel. Once a year we take a big trip with my best friend from college and her husband. We have recently been to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. Last year we did Alaska. This year we will be traveling to Greece, Italy and Turkey. Our life is good and we have our health, and for this I am extremely grateful.
